Volunteer Opportunities

Hello and thank you for your interest in being a Head Football coach for the Whittier Trojans! We are always looking to add quality coaches to our organization. Being a Head Coach in a Pop Warner program such as the Whittier Trojans comes with a number of responsibility's and a large commitment to our young kids. Here are a few things that will be required of you as Head Coach of a Whittier Trojan football team:

~ You will be required to take and pass a background check with the Department of Justice. This is a one time $20 fee that will be good for as long as you are with the Whittier Trojans

~ As a Head Coach you will become a General Board Member and will be required to attend all Whittier Trojan Board Meetings.

~ The Head Football Coach is ultimately responsible for all participants in your division. This includes any Cheer team, parents, and players associated with your team.

~ And of course, you will be responsible for the game/practice planning and development of our young athletes.
